we use ball mill+ air classifier to produce silica powder

the ball mill is normally lined by silica stone or by aluminium oxided material, it can stop the silica to touch the ball mill wall to be contaminated and color change. the feeding size to ball mill can be as fine as it can down to 1mm, then it will be ground in the ball mill and discharge to air classifier, all the pipe line should be lined by pu or by alumnium oxied to insulate the contact between steel and silica power so as to protect the whiteness and purity of silica powder.

the fine ground silica powder will be sucked to the air classifier, the classifing blade will be completely casted Aluminium oxided rotor or tungsten carbon, the later is the best material, it can overcome the hardness damage to the rotor and keep long life.
